Vintage DIY Country Wedding | Sacramento Wedding Photography

We had such an amazing time wrapping up the end of our season with so many great weddings, but this one really stood out! There was so much detail and special mementos throughout the day, it's going to be one for the books!

To start us off, the bride had dried bouquets from The Flower Patch for herself, the bridesmaids, and all of the groomsmen boutineers! Such a cool idea, and she said it actually was less expensive to have these made than fresh flowers!

The brides dress was the softest shade of blush with a matching veil, it was so pretty against her skin tone, complimented her perfectly! But lets not forget about our dashing groom, his men were all in navy blue but he rocked a forest green suit and it looked amazing!

The venue was a private residence of a friend that is used for large parties and BBQ's, but they set up an amazing backdrop for the ceremony site, with some wood paneling and country doors for the bridal party to enter through... can we get a heck yeah?!

The overall picture of this day was beautiful but it was all of the small details that really stood out! The bride's heritage is Japanese so her mom helped her fold 1000 cranes for good luck, which they used as the backdrop of their reception (you'll see their first dance pictures later...!)

They also had some amazing vintage table settings, all different and mismatched but looked so cute and shabby chic together, and to top it off they used old books and numbers to be the place markers for each table... the creativity, amazing!

If you have kept up with our instagram or any of our other blog posts, you probably think we are a little biased toward the "first look," well when you get reactions like this from the groom, it makes you fall in love with the element of surprise at the alter all over again!

... Not to mention that first kiss, YOWZA!!

Gotta love a creative exit, they had all of the guests toss dried wildflowers at them as they walked down the isle, and it was great!

The reception was overall a great time, everyone was happy and laughing, and the finishing touch was having their grandpa play the drums during their happy hour!

See those cranes?? That's what we're talkin about!

These two love birds were so sweet you could just see their love for each other radiating off of each other all day. They have a great story and have been friends for years which makes the romance seem to come so effortlessly to them! It's happy endings like these that make us so grateful that this is our profession and our passion.
